Transcon Steel has developed a complete line of metal truss accessories to complete all truss packages. Many truss companies may only provide the trusses but not include the clips, ridge/valley metals, sub-fascia cap, fasteners, or other necessary components. It is important that a customer can source all truss materials from a single supplier.

Ridge and Valley Metal

All ridge and valley metals are custom bent for each project. Transcon Steel can provide precision bent metals for even the most difficult compound angles in ranges from 24 gauge down to 12 gauge.

Sub-Fascia Cap

No matter what soffit and rafter depth design, Transcon Steel can provide a custom bent sub-fascia cap from 22 down to 12 gauge material.

J-Metal : Center Jack to Main Girder Connector

The standard Transcon Steel connection for hip roof trusses is the use of J-metal connector plate. The J-metal plate is used to connect the center jack trusses to the main girder. The J-metal provides a continuous connector for the end vertical web of the jack truss to the main girder.

V-Metal: Corner Jack to Hip Girder Connector

For hip roof truss conditions, Transcon Steel manufactures a proprietary V-Metal continuous plate for corner jack to hip girder connections. The V-metal is custom bent and gauged to meet engineering requirements for all designed load.

Truss to Wall Connectors

Transcon Steel provides all required truss connector plates and clips for each project. Transcon Steel can supply all major clip manufacturer's products and has an additional line of proprietary clips that are custom designed for each project.

Temporary and Permanent Bracing

Each floor and roof truss package is delivered with both temporary and permanent bracing materials. A complete truss bracing layout design is included with shop drawings to assist in the most accurate, safest and fastest installation of the metal truss package. Transcon Steel will engineer each project with the best value bracing package that may include metal stud, furring channel and or J-Metal.
